priežemyninė zona statusas T sritis Politika apibrėžtis Eurazijos žemyno pakrantės zona, skirianti žemynines ir jūrines valstybes. Geopolitikos terminas, jį įvedė amerikiečių geopolitikas N. Spykmanas. Skirtingai nuo brito H. J. Mackinderio, jis teigė, kad ne žemyninė zona (hartland), o priežemyninė zona yra svarbiausia vieta, kurią kontroliuoti turi siekti norinčios pasaulyje viešpatauti valstybės. Perfrazuodamas Mackinderį, Spykmanas teigė: „kas kontroliuoja priežemyninę zoną, valdo Euraziją, o kas valdo Euraziją, tas valdo ir pasaulį“.
